MoS2 is a dry film lubricant that is less expensive than WS2. It is shown to have better sliding wear resistance in some applications. It is a naturally occuring mineral and gives better sliding wear resistance in a vacuum.
Micro Surface Corporation provides the MoS2 coating utilizing the same procedures as our WS2 per Process SL-39. It is applied at room temperature with no resins, binders or heat curing.
